About
I'm Selim Mimaroglu, Director of Generative AI and Data Science at Fannie Mae, where I oversee the integration of LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, and MLOps to shape the future of housing finance through AI.
Previously, as Director of AI at Oracle Utilities, I built the AI Center of Excellence from the ground up — scaling from zero to 100+ production models serving tens of millions of customers across energy efficiency, grid management, and renewables.
I hold a PhD in Computer Science from UMass Boston, a Professional Certificate in Product Management from MIT, and have taught data science at George Washington University and UMBC.
